I bought this after my original remote stopped working and only power button would stay red ! Seems to be the same remote from lg that came with my tv ! I put batteries in it and that’s all I had to do no programming or anything it worked tossed my old one away !

I’m loving this LG remote controller. Works flawlessly and feels so comfortable in your hand. It’s easy to use and i like it much better than the little one that came with my LG tv. The little remote has an Exit button on it, and if pressed by mistake it will immediately close out whatever you are watching on tv. This larger remote does not have an Exit button so i don’t have to worry about closing out of a program accidentally. This remote also has voice activation and other features that the smaller one does not have. I’ve seen some reviews with quality concerns, but I haven’t seen any problems at all. I suggest that you must be sure the product is by LG and not a random generic brand. It pared with my tv immediately just by pressing the on button.

Pretty hard to connect, also when connected it says that it has poor connection and the remote works super slow.

Got it today and seems more durable than my original Samsung remote. Right out of the bag, I didn’t even need to pair it and it’s super responsive, especially the speed buttons; Netflix, Hulu, and Amazon Prime. Only downside is the Disney+ shortcut doesn’t work which was the main reason why I purchased this. I’ll survive since I didn’t have this feature before with previous remotes original and replacements
